The Manager, Business Development - Hospitality will focus on developing and implementing the strategic direction of our Hospitality vertical. In this role, you will play a critical role in driving business/revenue growth and establishing strategic partnerships with clients who are looking for unique identity solutions.

What you'll do:

  • Apply a tenacious approach to pursuing new markets, creating and bringing clients through a full sales pipeline, and overcoming customer concerns
  • Manage day-to-day business development and relationships with Hospitality clients (hotels, rental car, rideshare, OTAs, short-term rentals, etc.).
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Enablement & Growth, Legal, Security to align business requirements with existing/future capabilities
  • Conduct research, deliver competitive intelligence on Hospitality business trends, conduct capability needs/development, and support internal forecasting processes.
  • Land new B2B opportunities and expand to additional opportunities to broaden CLEAR’s network throughout the client’s organization
  • Develop and deepen your understanding of CLEAR’s existing products and future capabilities
  • Project manage large, strategic partnerships acting as point-of-contact between internal and external partners

How you'll measure success:

  • Attainment of revenue goals including Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and Total Contract Value (TCV)
  • Upsell / Expansion
  • Customer Retention / LTV (Lifetime value)
  • Members added
  • Regular achievement of monthly/quarterly goals
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Executive level relationships
  • Regularly exhibits CLEAR’s values

Who you are:

  • 3+ years of B2B business development or sales experience
  • Knowledge of Hospitality industry is preferred, including strong relationships and/or ability to connect and influence Hospitality leadership
  • You’re tenacious and a strategic thinker while pursuing new markets, creating a sales pipeline, and overcoming customer concerns.
  • You have a track record of success in developing and nurturing relationships throughout the organizational hierarchy, including senior executives
  • You are a team player, with a collaborative and cooperative work style. You possess time-management and prioritization skills and are excited to roll-up your sleeves
  • Willingness to travel as required (up to 25% of the time)

The base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000, depending on levels of skills and experience.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of CLEAR’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEAR’s total compensation package for employees and other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units
