About the job

We're seeking an exceptional Strategic Account Manager to join our team. Under the direction of the Director of Account Management. The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for implementing, managing and growing relationships with our clients, serving as the primary point of contact between the client and Vynca. This role will focus on understanding clients' strategic objectives, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring clients realize maximum value from our software and services..

While this position is remote, you must be available to work 8:30-5PM Pacific Time and also be willing to travel up to 25%

What you'll do

  • Develop a deep understanding of Vynca solutions and understand how they fit into the healthcare landscape and our client's needs

  • Maintain a working knowledge of marketing, sales, and account management functions and an understanding of how each function works together to meet the needs of clients

  • Client Relationship Management

    • Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship owner for assigned accounts

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of client organizations

    • Conduct regular business reviews to ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns proactively

  • Client Lifecycle Management

    • Manage smooth transitions from sales to implementation, ensuring clear communication of client expectations

    • Oversee implementation projects, coordinating with internal teams to ensure successful deployments

    • Handle all support escalations, serving as the client advocate within Vynca

    • Drive renewal processes, ensuring high retention rates

  • Growth and Strategic Planning

    • Develop comprehensive strategic account plans that align with clients' business objectives

    • Identify and pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts

    • Collaborate with product teams to communicate client feedback and influence roadmap priorities

    • Track and report on account health metrics, providing accurate forecasts to leadership

  • Ensure KPIs are being met

  • Act as the liaison between the client and Vynca to ensure all needs are being met as they relate to data, operations, and satisfaction

  • Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals

  • Maintain a working knowledge of Vynca’s technology and service offerings

Success Metrics

  • Successful implementation completion rates

  • Achievement of annual revenue targets for assigned accounts

  • Client retention and satisfaction scores

  • Growth in share of wallet within existing accounts

  • Expansion into new departments or facilities within client organizations

  • Contribution to product roadmap based on client feedback

Your experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare software/services sales or account management

  • Demonstrated success in managing and growing enterprise healthcare accounts

  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, workflows, and industry challenges

  • Experience with healthcare software implementation and customer success

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to assemble a compelling story in a deck using Google Slides or PowerPoint

  • Ability to build relationships at all levels, particularly with C-suite executives

  • Exceptional time management, prioritization, organizational and collaborative skills

  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic & positive attitude

  • Ability to work independently

  • Desire to learn and grow within a dynamic, high-growth, and fast-paced environment

  • Driven to win and to hit assigned quantitative goals

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Previous experience working in a remote capacity, highly preferred

  • Proficiency with CRM (Hubspot) systems and sales analytics tools (Excel, Sheets)
