Validic, Inc. is a digital health and remote care company devoted to our mission of improving the quality of human life by making personal data actionable. We’re seeking a Sales Executive, who will be responsible effectively prospecting and closing new business, identifying qualified opportunities to drive revenue, and managing the relationship, proposal, negotiation, contracting, and entire sales process in new accounts primarily targeting digital health, wellbeing, and virtual care use cases. This individual strategically articulates, through presentations, proposals, contracting, and business development, how the Company’s solutions can help the potential client meet key corporate and strategic objectives.
What You’ll Do at Validic
- Oversee end-to-end sales process, including identifying, prospecting, demoing, pursuing, and closing new business in a quota-carrying capacity
- Use a strategic, consultative sales process to target organizations and establish key relationships with leadership and decision makers to guide them through the sales process
- Continually prospect for new business, including the use of broad, cold outreach and creative outbound tactics and strategies
- Follow up with and aggressively pursue leads generated through marketing activity
- Demonstrate process effectiveness by continually qualifying sales opportunities, assessing prospect readiness, managing the procurement and contracting process, and identifying and resolving barriers
- Build and maintain sales pipeline to support overachievement of established sales objectives
- Demonstrate the Company’s and technology’s value and align the technology’s current and future capabilities with the client’s business requirements through compelling and effective sales presentations
- Share prospect feedback with the Product team for feature requests to be added and prioritized appropriately
- Coordinate with the Client Enablement and Client Success teams to transition and onboard new clients
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to target key leaders at key accounts through event and digital campaigns
- Continuously maintain industry best-practices for sales, understand key trends in the Payer, Provider and value-based care space, and stay up-to-date on product releases, the client’s needs, and market competition
- Utilize customer relationship management software to manage key accounts by maintaining accurate documentation and properly logging sales activity
- Represent the Company and its products, technology, and capabilities in an effective, professional manner in all sales activities and at industry events
What You'll Bring to Validic
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- At least two years of quota-carrying SaaS, analytics platforms, and/or platform sales experience in the digital health market required
- Experience selling to organizations participating in risk and value-based care arrangements preferred
- Strong understanding of the healthcare technology landscape and has a history of high sales performance, with a proven track record of exceeding quota
- Strong understanding of value-based care and the business of risk-taking healthcare entities
- Extensive relationships with executive leaders at target organizations, including C-levels, VPs, SVPs, Directors, Presidents, General Managers, etc.
- Competitive spirit and achievement-driven, with a “can-do” attitude and desire to overachieve
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Salesforce and other pertinent business systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to speak publicly and effectively demonstrate the Company’s and technology’s value through virtual and in-person demo presentations
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage and address multiple priorities at once in a fast-paced environment
- Entrepreneurial spirit and sound problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively create and manage pipeline
- Excellent influencing and consultative selling skills
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve potential barriers and challenges in a sales relationship
- Action-oriented, with a willingness to contact new prospects and drive current prospects to closure
- Outstanding relationship-building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity

The Fine Print
Location: Remote U.S. Based - Our core hours are 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
Reports to: Vice President, Revenue
Status: Full-Time/Exempt - No contract or contract to hire requests are being considered.
Compensation and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $110,000-$120,000 per year plus incentive compensation. Placement within salary range is determined by level of education, knowledge and skills, and relevant years of experience beyond the minimum job requirements. Benefits include medical/dental/vision/life insurance, flexible spending accounts, equity, 401(k), and flexible time off/work schedule.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer in various environments with multiple distractions. Must be able to travel 15% or more.
