Why we're hiring
UnityAI builds AI agents, primarily voice-enabled, that help our customers (healthcare providers) deliver better care to their patients. Our founding belief, reflected in our name, is that AI needs to work in unity with existing business structures to be most effective.
As a Product Analyst at UnityAI, you will be responsible for understanding—and documenting—the needs of our customers so that we can best meet those needs with our agentic products. Working closely with our Product Engineering and Customer Success teams, you’ll develop a deep understanding of the capabilities and patterns of our team’s technology stack. After conducting discovery interviews with customer leaders and stakeholders, you’ll use your taste and intuition to translate their business requirements, goals, and KPIs into AI agent solutions.
Since UnityAI is an early-stage startup, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the role and the development of our products. As UnityAI grows, the person in this role will have significant opportunities for professional growth.
In this role, you'll help lead:
- Process discovery: Work closely with our customers to analyze and understand their business processes; you’ll interview multiple stakeholders, read and absorb their internal documentation, and develop a full understanding of their current state.
- Requirements documentation: Ensure that the understanding you develop with the customer is well-documented (e.g. process maps and workflow diagrams) and available to both them and internal UnityAI teams.
- Solution design & planning: Using your understanding of UnityAI products and capabilities, you will identify improvement opportunities and propose ways to solve customer pain points and inefficiencies.
- Process analytics: In collaboration with the customers and UnityAI analytics team members, you’ll help define the strategic goals, KPIs, and success metrics to be measured.
- Subject matter expertise: You’ll research and often serve as the go-to internal expert on customer concerns and complex healthcare workflows, such as:
- Multi-channel patient outreach campaigns (SMS, email, voice)
- Patient scheduling operations (confirmations, rescheduling, new appointments)
- Healthcare compliance requirements and data privacy considerations
What you'll need to be successful:
We value demonstrable knowledge and the ability to deliver real-world outcomes above formal education. Candidates are expected to have experience and/or interest in learning:
- Interviewing & relationship building: Serving as the face and voice of UnityAI early in our healthcare customers’ experience, you have the ability to elegantly structure a conversation in real-time to elicit information efficiently and professionally.
- Deep empathy & curiosity: Your first instinct is to reach for a textbook or online course when encountering a new domain; you seek and absorb information voraciously so that you can really understand the customer and help product teams build polished, relevant solutions.
- Systems thinking: Ability to see connections between processes, people, and technology; you can effectively decompose goals and processes into jobs-to-be-done as well as detailed execution requirements.
- Strong written & visual communication: A natural inclination to document learnings and share information is a key attribute for success at UnityAI. You can write clearly and create effective workflow diagrams to communicate business processes.
- Technical nous: You should know how to communicate and work effectively with deep technical experts such as engineers and data scientists.
- Healthcare experience and knowledge of its complexities is a plus. Coming in with a shared domain understanding will help you build trust with customers.
