Lead Registered Nurse

The Lead Registered Nurse at Fuze Health plays a key leadership role in supporting FuzeRx’s nursing team by ensuring high-quality patient care, operational excellence, and a supportive environment for clinical staff. This role combines clinical expertise with people leadership, guiding nursing staff in daily operations, patient care standards, and continuous professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Support: Lead, mentor, and support the nursing team through training, coaching, and ongoing performance management.
  • Clinical Operations Oversight: Collaborate with Clinical Operations leadership to develop and implement patient care plans aligned with clinical best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Quality of Care Management: Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care; identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements as directed.
  • Clinical Expertise & Guidance: Serve as a knowledgeable resource for the nursing team, supporting clinical decision-making, problem-solving, and escalation management.
  • Process Improvement: Uphold high standards of care and contribute to process development that drives operational efficiency and patient safety.
  • Organizational Communication: Support organizational goals and initiatives through collaborative planning and execution with leadership teams.
  • Learning & Professional Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning; encourage skill development, training opportunities, and career growth among nursing staff.
  • Professional Conduct: Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, compassion, and adherence to ethical standards in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Clinical Advancement: Stay informed on emerging nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and technological advancements; integrate new knowledge into clinical operations.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Active, non-restricted compact state nursing license with primary state of licensure in one of the following:
    • Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Guam, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming.
  • 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience; prior leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare technology systems.
  • Commitment to ethical standards and a patient-centered approach to care.
