Lead Warehouse Associate

The Lead Warehouse Associate at Fuze Health plays a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of pharmacy orders while maintaining operational excellence across warehouse activities. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this role serves as an individual contributor and team lead, collaborating cross-functionally to support pharmacy operations, drive process efficiency, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced healthcare logistics environment within the respective FuzeRx location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Operations: Lead and supervise warehouse associates to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant order fulfillment. Train team members, monitor performance, and promote a safe, efficient work environment.
  • Inventory Management & Organization: Oversee inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage stock replenishment. Maintain organized storage areas and ensure inventory accuracy in warehouse systems.
  • Order Fulfillment & Shipping: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped according to specifications. Inspect, load, and unload shipments, addressing any damages or discrepancies.
  • Quality Control & Compliance: Perform product quality checks, enforce safety standards, and uphold all company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Prepare daily operational reports, track KPIs, and identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and workflow.
  • General Warehouse Support: Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks), maintain cleanliness, and assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • 1+ year of experience in a warehouse leadership or team lead role (highly preferred).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic computer applications.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
  • Experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or medical supply fulfillment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse procedures and safety standards in regulated environments.
