Manager, Clinical Operations

The Manager, Clinical Operations at Fuze Health plays a vital role in leading a team of registered nurses to ensure compassionate, efficient, and compliant patient care. Reporting to the Vice President, Clinical Operations, this position is responsible for driving team performance, optimizing operational workflows, and fostering a culture centered on patient satisfaction, clinical excellence, and continuous improvement within FuzeRx.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Oversight: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of registered nurses operating in a remote call center environment; conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Maximize nursing staff utilization to deliver high-quality patient care efficiently while driving program profitability.
  • Performance Management: Develop, track, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as consultations per nurse per month; make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor call center metrics and ensure all patient interactions are handled with empathy, accuracy, and in accordance with clinical and company standards.
  • Process Improvement: Conduct regular audits and assessments of call center operations; identify and address areas for improvement in workflows, protocols, and systems.
  • Training & Development: Design and deliver training programs for new and existing nurses covering clinical protocols, customer service, and call center systems.
  • Compliance & Credentialing: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and internal policies; verify that all nursing licenses and credentials are current in the internal EMR system.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and stakeholders across the organization to align strategies, share insights, and improve patient care delivery.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
  • Active multistate compact nursing license required
  • Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 2 years in a call center or telehealth environment
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of clinical guidelines, call center operations, and healthcare compliance standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in call center software and electronic health record (EHR) systems

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience managing remote nursing teams or healthcare call center operations
  • Background in performance management, workforce planning, and process optimization
  • Demonstrated success in improving operational efficiency and patient satisfaction
