We’re looking for an experienced Sr. Billing Analyst reporting to the Sr. Director, Financial Operations to support our Finance team. You will be an individual contributor, while working cross functionally with other teams in the organization.
As a Sr. Billing Analyst, you will play a key role in our Accounting department. You will be responsible for managing complex billing operations, ensuring accurate invoicing aligned with hospice client contracts, and supporting revenue recognition.

You're excited about this opportunity because...
- You will manage and execute the daily/monthly production cycles of all billing processes for hospice clients, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing based on pharmacy service agreements.
- You will facilitate, verify data integrity, and investigate & resolve any variances.
- You will review contracts and pricing structures to ensure proper application of billing terms and fee schedules.
- You will collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Client Services, Operations, and Pharmacy Teams) to validate billing data and resolve discrepancies.
- You will ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations, HIPAA, and internal financial controls.
- You will proactively review processes and procedures to identify gaps, and recommend changes and improvements.
- You will support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, revenue accruals, and reporting.
- You will prepare client billing summaries, aging reports, and ad hoc financial analysis as requested.
- You will assist in audit preparation and provide documentation to internal or external auditors.
- You will train and mentor junior staff or billing specialists as needed.
We're excited about you because...
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred).
- You possess 5+ years of progressive billing experience in the healthcare, pharmacy, or hospice industry.
- You have a strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition standards (ASC 606).
- You are proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- You possess intermediate to advanced Access and Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
- You are familiar with pharmacy billing systems and healthcare compliance requirements.
- You have excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- You are able to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
The salary range for this position is $95,000-$120,000.
