This is a key commercial role for us. We are excited to bring on a Director, Business Development to grow our provider client base. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing company with a small-but-happy client base. You’ll be able make immediate, direct contributions to the company’s success and growth. What you’ll do

  • Lead growth in the provider market with a focus on at-risk provider groups
  • Work closely with our executive team to ensure we’re building for market needs
  • Prioritize, target, and close new deals
  • Lead product and sales discussions. Drive tightly coordinated sales processes
  • Become a subject matter expert on the Switchboard platform and the ways it can transform care delivery
  • Evaluate channel opportunities and strategic partnerships
  • As the voice of the market, bringing important feedback, learning, and ideas to our product team
  • Succeed as an individual contributor while building playbooks that future sales directors can use to succeed
  • Transition our new clients to caring hands of our client success team.
  • Help us maintain a great culture by setting the stage for a high-performing, curious, self-aware, honest, accountable, and fun team

What you’ll bring

  • 7+ years of experience in a sales role for digital health solutions, preferably those that support value-based care
  • A track record of exceeding sales targets, either as an individual contributor or team leader
  • Deep understanding of provider-side healthcare, value-based reimbursement, and provider-payer interactions
  • Experience closing deals with provider groups, working with clinical and executive stakeholders
  • High energy, creativity, and a bias for action. Consistent usage of Oxford commas.
  • A willingness to write a playbook, not follow one that’s already well defined
  • History of executing complex deals throughout the healthcare marketplace for a range of clients
  • Excitement about working in a dynamic startup environment
