The Job at a Glance
We are looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to join our team and to help us build the fastest growing directed-spend retail network in the country. As a critical addition to our organization, you will be responsible for expanding our integrated retail partnerships across key markets, with a focus on grocery, pharmacy, value, and fitness retailers. You will also help develop strategic partnerships with POS technology companies and CPG brands in the health and wellness space. If you are a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys working cross-functionally, and is eager to roll up your sleeves and build something big, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Do
Develop and Close New Retail Partners: Lead efforts to build and scale partnerships with retailers across the grocery, pharmacy, value, and fitness categories, ensuring national coverage and growth
Facilitate Seamless Onboarding: Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Implementation, Legal, etc.) to ensure a smooth onboarding process for retailers and a positive ongoing relationship
Develop Strategic CPG Partnerships: Cultivate and manage relationships with CPG brands, particularly in the health and wellness space, to expand our product offerings and enhance brand visibility within our network
Forge Relationships with POS Technology Providers: Drive partnerships with POS technology companies to streamline integration and improve retail partner onboarding experiences
Support Expansion Strategies: Work to accelerate national market penetration, leveraging your partnerships to expand reach and enhance our position as a leader in the directed spend network
Negotiation & Deal Structuring: Lead negotiations with new and existing partners, ensuring that terms align with business objectives and provide value to both parties
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, engineering, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment across various business functions
