By 2060, the older adult population in the U.S. will double to 95 million, amounting to nearly 1 in 5 people and more diverse than ever. While most desire to age in place, few have the sufficient resources or support to remain independent at home. Navigating through the constellation of healthcare and supportive services is hard enough; accessing culturally-competent care remains elusive for most minority older adults. Seen Health was founded by a team of inspired older-adults-in-training to do our part in improving the aging experience for our families and communities. We are building a culturally-focused, technology-enabled healthcare organization that integrates comprehensive medical care and social support with a high-touch, interdisciplinary approach. Building upon a proven Home and community based services model, we are embracing the unique cultural and healthcare needs of the communities we serve and empowering our staff with thoughtfully designed technology to scale the highest quality care to many more older adults. Our name, Seen Health, was chosen to reflect our commitment to provide the highest standard of care to underserved older adults while respecting and incorporating their individual beliefs, heritage, and values, so that they can truly be seen.
