About the role

We’re hiring a Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team at Rock Health. Reporting to the VP, Marketing and Communications, this is a unique role that formally sits within Rock Health Advisory, while supporting Marketing and Communications efforts across the parent brand (Rock Health) and individual sub-brands (Rock Health Advisory, RockHealth.org, Rock Health Capital).

This role is a marketing generalist’s dream. You will work on a variety of projects across every facet of Rock Health, from managing our social media presence and thought leadership content marketing, to executing media outreach and conference strategy. You will drive integrated marketing and communications campaigns to help grow the Rock Health Advisory business while also working closely with members of the RockHealth.org and Rock Health Capital teams to align their messaging, marketing, and ecosystem-building activities with the broader vision of Rock Health. Your efforts will advance Rock Health’s thought leadership in the industry, strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, and amplify the impact of our work.

About you

You are a versatile marketing professional with a deep understanding of the digital health industry and a passion for transforming healthcare. You thrive in a generalist marketing role, where you can apply your skills across a wide range of activities and also enjoy the opportunity to go deep when the need arises. You’re equally as comfortable communicating with a reporter about our proprietary data to support their story, as you are working with designers to achieve the perfect social media image to support the copy you drafted. You can easily flex between a strategic and tactical mindset and are comfortable juggling multiple projects at once, with a keen eye for maintaining a big picture view for how all the pieces come together. You have experience with, or have confidence in your ability to quickly grasp how to effectively manage a family of brands—with a thoughtful perspective on distilling marketing/communications objectives, audiences, and desired outcomes to guide your recommended approach. You are data-driven and constantly seek ways to improve marketing processes and outcomes. You are excited about the chance to work in a highly collaborative environment, where your contributions will directly impact the growth of Rock Health.

Responsibilities

You’ll have primary ownership on the following:

  • Develop content marketing campaigns: Manage the creation and distribution of marketing content and campaigns to support the amplification of our thought leadership. Collaborate cross-functionally with subject matter experts and growth/program teams to execute marketing plans that align with our marketing and communications objectives. Own our marketing channels (including website and social), and execution of marketing tactics across channels.
  • Support brand and design initiatives: Oversee the production of high-quality graphics, infographics, and other design elements, ensuring consistency across all materials.
  • Oversee conference and event participation: Plan and manage Rock Health’s brand marketing presence at industry conferences, including earned external speaker engagements and our owned events such as Rock Health Summit.
  • Analyze and report on marketing metrics: Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

You’ll closely collaborate and support the VP on the below:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and programs: Support the creation and implementation of comprehensive marketing plans that align with Rock Health’s overall objectives across various channels. Contribute to the development of new programs that deepen Rock Health’s brand and support the various facets of the business.
  • Support communications, PR, and media relations: Deepen relationships with reporters and other key stakeholders, strategically manage media coverage, and contribute to internal communications efforts.
  • Process improvement and innovation: Continuously seek opportunities to refine marketing processes, stay updated on industry trends, and introduce innovative marketing practices.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably within the digital health or healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of the digital health landscape and trends
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multi-stakeholder perspectives, creating and driving forward work plans that bring stakeholders along
  • Proven ability to manage multiple marketing channels and campaigns simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience with social media management, content creation, and website management
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, WordPress, and content management systems
