POSITION OVERVIEW:
The HR Operations Manager owns the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of HR Operations, including benefits administration, multi-state leaves of absence, HRIS (Paylocity) ownership, and partnership with Payroll. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and scalable HR operations and serves as the primary operational counterpart to Payroll.
This role is responsible not only for day-to-day operational oversight, but also for driving automation, building scalable processes, and reducing manual work across HR Operations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical and process-design capabilities and is comfortable evaluating workflows, leveraging systems, and implementing improvements that increase accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
The HR Operations Manager provides oversight, approvals, and escalation support for HR operations work, manages or oversees administrative execution, and maintains flexibility to provide hands-on support during peak periods. This role reports to the VP of People & Culture.
