Your Role

The Finance Director will serve as a key strategic partner to senior leadership, overseeing aspects of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, long range planning and performance management. This role will provide financial leadership across the enterprise, ensuring data-driven decision-making, strong fiscal discipline, and the financial infrastructure needed to scale. The Finance Director will lead the development of financial strategies to support growth initiatives, optimize value-based care performance, and deliver on our long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Serve as the primary finance liaison to operational, clinical, and business development leaders, providing strategic recommendations and financial guidance.
  • Drive multi-year financial planning, integrating growth strategies, capital allocation, and risk mitigation.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Drive enterprise-wide budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast performance under various scenarios, supporting proactive decision-making.
  • Deliver actionable insights through comprehensive variance analysis, performance metrics, and KPI dashboards.

Value-Based Care Financial Management

  • Lead financial performance monitoring for value-based contracts, including risk-based arrangements and shared savings programs.
  • Partner with clinical and operational teams to identify cost drivers, optimize medical expense management, and improve quality-based incentive performance.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of new payer contracts, partnerships, and service line expansions.

Decision Support & Investment Analysis

  • Assess business development opportunities, potential acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, including due diligence and ROI analysis.
  • Present financial scenarios and recommendations to the executive team and Board of Directors.
  • Ensure that investment decisions are backed by robust financial and operational analyses.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Implement best practices in financial operations, reporting, and analytics.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience, preferably in healthcare and / or value-based care
  • Prior roles in healthcare investment banking, management consulting, private equity, corporate development are preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, with expertise in Microsoft Excel; experience with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and Snowflake preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complex financial concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional leaders and drive results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of healthcare economics
Salary Range
$145,000$180,000 USD
