Role Summary:

As we look to grow our Finance team, we are looking for an Senior Accounts Payable or Accounts Payable Lead who will report to our Assistant Controller. A good sense of humor, a rock-solid work ethic, and mind-blowing attention to detail are qualities we look for. This foundational role will play an important role in the Finance organization around change management, improving processes, and scaling our operations. We are looking for a self-starter who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and wearing multiple hats. No job is too small or too large.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own your workflows; we believe in hiring great people and removing any obstacles that get in their way

  • Be given full autonomy as the sole contributor to build out accounts payable processes and tackle ambitious projects that shape the future of the business

  • Support vendor onboarding and keep our vendor records meticulously organized

  • Work directly with business partners to resolve any invoice discrepancies, ensuring timely approvals

  • Reconcile credit card statements, meticulously coding expenses to the appropriate accounts and departments

  • Own the T&E policy & exception review and manage the integration between our systems Navan and NetSuite

  • Assist with annual audits and various reporting requirements including managing annual 1099 filings

What We’re Looking For:

  • You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance

  • You have 3+ years of relevant experience in AP and/or high-tech organizations (SaaS industry is a plus)

  • You possess knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements

  • You take pride in what you do; integrity is one of your core values and you care deeply about building and automating financial operation practices for the long-term

  • You create and execute your own work

  • You thrive in ambiguity and enjoy rolling up your sleeves no matter what the challenge is; you understand how to prioritize and ask for help when it’s needed

  • You have familiarity with our key financial systems: NetSuite, Navan, and FloQast

  • You believe in serving Notable’s employee and external stakeholders with excellent communication and organizational skills

  • You have excellent Microsoft Excel skills with strong attention to detail

  • You’re highly motivated, with the ability to work independently, as well as contribute to the needs of the Accounting team
