The Senior Business Development Operations Manager is responsible for leading, optimizing, and scaling mPulse’s outreach and sales development functions. This strategic leadership role oversees a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and partners closely with Sales and Marketing to drive qualified pipeline growth, improve outreach effectiveness, and ensure seamless alignment across multiple product lines within our B2B Health IT portfolio.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3–4 SDRs to achieve performance goals and foster continuous improvement.
Align outreach initiatives between SDRs and National Sales Directors to expand customer coverage and accelerate new logo acquisition.
Collaborate with Marketing on MQL follow-up and campaign execution to maximize lead conversion.
Oversee pipeline generation across multiple product lines, ensuring consistent SQL growth and engagement effectiveness.
Design, implement, and optimize outbound and inbound outreach processes leveraging CRM and automation tools.
Analyze and report on outreach activity, lead progression, and contact engagement; provide actionable insights to Sales Leadership.
Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment on go-to-market strategies and messaging.
Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and customer insights to inform strategic outreach approaches.
Strong leadership and people management skills with a focus on performance and development.
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate cross-functionally.
Advanced understanding of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales engagement tools.
Ability to interpret data and develop actionable recommendations to improve team performance.
High level of business acumen and strategic thinking in B2B sales environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Health IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
5+ years of experience in business development, sales operations, or a related role within a B2B or Health IT company.
Demonstrated success leading and scaling sales development teams.
Proven record of exceeding SQL and pipeline targets.
Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift 10 lbs. weight.
