Job Summary:

The People Operations Manager oversees various aspects of human resources and employee relations within the organization. This role primarily fosters a positive work environment, implements HR programs, and ensures compliance with relevant regulations. The People Operations Manager works closely with leadership to support the company's goals and objectives related to talent management and employee satisfaction.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all HR-related inquiries and issues
  • Implement and manage HR programs, policies, and procedures
  • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and Offboarding Processes
  • Administer employee benefits and compensation programs
  • Manage performance evaluation processes and guide managers and employees
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Handle employee grievances and conduct investigations as necessary
  • Develop and maintain HR documentation, including employee handbooks and policies
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on HR-related matters
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention
  • Manage HR-related projects as assigned
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive HR information
  • Stay updated on HR trends and best practices

Skills/Abilities/Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in human resources or related field
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office Suite
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in human resources or related fields
  • Fluent in Spanish

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 10 lbs. weight
