Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of various projects. This role supports project management activities by coordinating resources, managing timelines, tracking project deliverables, and ensuring communication among stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. This position requires collaboration with various teams and the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers in planning and executing project tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
- Maintain project documentation, including schedules, task lists, and status reports.
- Track and manage project milestones, ensuring adherence to timelines and deliverables.
- Coordinate resources and manage communication among team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting minutes.
- Monitor project budgets and expenses, flagging any variances for review.
- Assist in risk management by identifying potential issues and escalating them to Project Managers.
- Ensure that all project-related documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly archived.
- Support the creation of project plans, including setting priorities, deadlines, and task assignments.
- Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on the progress of ongoing projects.
- Facilitate communication between project teams to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.
- Help coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure the successful delivery of project objectives.
Skills/Abilities/Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination or a related role.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Trello, or similar software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Familiarity with budget tracking and expense management.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- PMP or CAPM certification is a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 10 lbs. weight.
