You will build and manage the systems, processes, and workflows that support licensure at scale, while partnering closely with clinical operations, compliance, legal, and recruiting to ensure every provider is credentialed accurately, efficiently, and in full alignment with state and federal regulations.
This is a highly visible, cross-functional leadership role that’s equal parts strategic planning and operational execution.

Lead credentialing and re-credentialing efforts, including CAQH, NPDB, malpractice verification, and other standard regulatory components.
Develop and maintain SOPs, checklists, and status-tracking infrastructure to ensure process clarity and audit-readiness.
Build internal systems for tracking expirations, renewals, and application progress in coordination with onboarding and recruiting.
Implement an intake and feedback loop (ticketing or equivalent) to manage and triage provider licensing and credentialing issues.
Serve as a cross-functional partner to compliance, legal, and clinical leadership—ensuring credentialing and licensing practices align with evolving state and federal regulations.
Create and maintain policy documentation related to licensing, DEA/CSR, and credentialing workflows.
Identify risk areas and recommend solutions to support regulatory readiness and multi-state expansion.
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to define operational requirements for system or tool development related to licensing, credentialing, and renewals.
Collaborate with executive leadership to assess expansion readiness and support strategic growth goals through licensing strategy.
Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party credentialing or background check vendors.
5+ years of experience in provider credentialing and licensing, ideally in a healthcare startup, MSO, or multi-state care delivery organization.
Strong working knowledge of DEA and Controlled Substance Registration processes and regulatory considerations.
Experience leading licensing and credentialing for 1099 provider networks (contractor-based model).
Proven ability to develop systems, documentation, and workflows that scale with organizational growth.
Strong communication and project management skills with a high degree of process ownership.
Experience with CerifyOS, Medallion or other credentialing vendor software
Bonus: experience with digital health, telehealth regulations, or NCQA standards.
Are detail-obsessed and systems-driven, with a passion for operational excellence.
Excel at translating regulatory complexity into structured, repeatable processes.
Enjoy owning a process from end to end—rolling up your sleeves when needed and also thinking several steps ahead.
Want to help shape the operational and regulatory backbone of a growing care delivery organization.
