Remote | Full-Time. Who we are: We are a fully remote team, open to hiring in the United States and Canada. Read our company Playbook: https://lightmatter.com/playbook/. Why are we hiring? We're continuously hiring for software engineering roles and welcome candidates with a variety of programming experience. We’re not focused on a niche skill right now; we like well-rounded, full-stack engineers for web or mobile, though strong specialists are also welcome. More about the role: Work with our CTO, Creative Director, and engineers on projects spanning multiple languages, frameworks, and architectures. Great exposure to different technologies and client projects. Typical client work: web and mobile apps, APIs, third-party integrations, health-tech specific integrations, and enterprise digital transformation. What you'll need to be successful: • 3+ years as a software engineer at an agency, startup, or enterprise. • Some independent freelancing experience; strong communication and professionalism. • Low ego about code; constructive feedback; willingness to pair/help others. • Self-starter; balances elegant solutions with client needs quickly. • Comfortable shipping code and iterating. What we'll do for you: • Competitive salary & 401k plan. • Hiring range: $75,000 to $110,000 (actual offer depends on skills, qualifications, experience). • Unlimited paid vacation and sick leave. • Paid parental leave. • Exceptional healthcare: Lightmatter pays 100% of Dental and Vision premiums and 50% of Medical premiums. • Work remote or wherever you work best. • Great tech (laptops, headphones, standing desks). • Flexible hours. • Ongoing education. • No equity (not VC-backed), potential future profit sharing based on tenure.
