Initiate is looking for someone to help us in all aspects of company creation. In this role you will:
- Continuously identify and explore emerging trends in healthcare and life sciences to align with potential company creation opportunities
- Leverage networks and expertise to drive in-depth industry analysis including evolving landscape of solutions and innovation
- Build financial models and conduct business model analysis
- Source founders/Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs), investors, and advisors
- Engage with potential customers to observe patterns/trends for individual products and developpartnership and go-to-market strategies
- Collaborate and build relationships with important stakeholders in the ecosystem; attendconferences and industry events representing Initiate
Profile Desired:
- A deep passion for finding solutions and founders to advance human health, and ready to get in the trenches and build market-defining companies with us
- Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline (e.g. biology, engineering, finance, business or math)
- MBA preferred but not required
- 4 - 6 years experience in investment banking, venture capital, management consulting orhigh-growth startup in life sciences or healthcare
- Proficiency with Microso Office and G suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to develop effective business relationships
- Demonstrated passion for life sciences, healthcare and startups
- Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort with ambiguity
- Trustworthiness, integrity and unquestionable ethics
