About the Role

As a Registered Pharmacy Technician, you will play a key role in compounding high-quality, non-sterile medications that support our patients’ treatment needs. Working closely with our pharmacy team, you’ll help ensure each formulation is prepared with precision, safety, and care in a modern, innovative pharmacy environment.

This role is based onsite at our New Albany, Ohio facility. We are currently prioritizing hiring for the following shifts:

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM

  • Night Shift: 9:00 PM–5:30 AM

In This Role You Will

  • Clean, calibrate, and maintain non-sterile compounding equipment and designated workspaces.

  • Assist with staging raw materials and managing non-sterile compounding inventory.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.

  • Participate in site-specific training, ongoing competency assessments, and annual revalidation.

  • Maintain proper documentation, including batch records, ingredient logs, and cleaning logs.

  • Follow USP <795> and <800> requirements and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.

  • Compound non-sterile medications (tablets, solutions, suspensions, gummy formulations, etc.) following prescription orders and site SOPs upon completion of certification.

You Have

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Active registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Ohio.

  • At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience; prior experience in retail, hospital, or compounding settings preferred.

  • Familiarity with USP <795> and <800> standards and non-sterile compounding processes.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements, documentation, and record-keeping.

  • Ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance in a regulated environment.

  • Organized, dependable, and collaborative team player.

Conditions of Employment

  • This position involves working with Hazardous Drugs (HD) and requires wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while handling these drugs. PPE includes gloves, respiratory protection, gown, and other items as required.

  • Medical clearance is required to wear respiratory protection, including negative or positive pressure respirators such as N95, full-face respirator, SCBA, or Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR).

  • Physical exertion required, including but not limited to walking up to 50% of the time, standing up to 100% of the time, squatting and bending up to 20% of the time, and lifting up to 50 lbs. for up to a twelve-hour shift.

  • Due to potential reproductive risks associated with handling or compounding certain Hazardous Drugs (HD), associates must confirm understanding of potential risks (teratogenicity, carcinogenicity, and reproductive effects).
