About the Role:

We’re building a next-generation content engine—powered by LLMs, structured data, and editorial quality—to scale organic growth without compromising on brand trust, medical integrity, or user value. As our Growth & AI Content Systems Manager, you’ll be responsible for architecting and operating this system.

You’ll take in keyword and topical inputs, run AI workflows (via platforms like daydream and Make.com), and QA content for accuracy, brand fit, and SEO performance. You’ll work to ensure that even at scale, our content reflects the authority and empathy our customers expect.

You’ll make judgment calls on where quality thresholds must be held, where automation needs tuning, and how to evolve internal processes to balance speed, precision, and compliance. This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of content, systems, and search—who’s excited to push boundaries, but never at the cost of trust or rigor.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Organic Growth & SEO, the Growth & AI Content Systems Manager is a high-visibility, cross-functional role. You will work closely with Editorial, Product, Engineering, Legal, Medical Review, and Organic Growth teams to shape the future of scalable, compliant content production.

This role will support content systems across all major categories—Weight Loss, Hair, Sexual Health, Mental Health, and more—requiring a flexible, scalable approach that can evolve with our expanding roadmap and future category launches.

You Will:

  • Own and evolve our AI-powered content production workflows, including prompt engineering, fact-check automation, and schema enrichment.

  • Partner with Hims & Hers pod teams to define and implement scalable QA protocols that meet brand, medical, and SEO standards.

  • Lead content visibility initiatives across LLM platforms (schema, metadata, whitelisting, etc.).

  • Monitor AI sentiment and trust signals to ensure our brand presence in generative systems aligns with our positioning.

  • Work closely with Technical SEO and Engineering to ensure platform readiness and compliance for AI-assisted content.

  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows via tools like Make.com and support rollout across pods.

  • Track performance of AI-assisted content across CTR, conversion, rankings, and time-to-publish.

  • Contribute to cross-functional playbooks and experimentation roadmaps.

You Are:

  • Biased to action: You move quickly from problem to solution with minimal oversight and take the initiative to lead new workflows and systems forward.

  • Data-driven and analytical: You ground your decisions in metrics and operational KPIs, using available data to drive prioritization, measure system effectiveness, and identify areas for iteration.

  • A structured thinker: You break down opportunities into actionable steps, hypotheses, and frameworks, generate action plans, and align stakeholders

  • Strategically-minded: You balance near-term delivery with long-term systems thinking. You can see the future-state of content infrastructure and chart a path to get there.

  • A highly effective influencer: You work cross-functionally with confidence and clarity, bringing along editorial, compliance, and technical stakeholders even when stakes are high or inputs are unclear.

  • A high-energy operator: You are motivated by the challenge of bringing new systems to life, managing competing priorities, and ensuring details don’t get lost at scale.

  • Customer and brand-centric: You deeply understand the voice, tone, and integrity standards expected in a regulated health environment, and work to protect that while unlocking scale through AI.

You Have:

  • 5+ years in SEO, growth content operations, or technical content systems roles

  • Experience working in regulated industries or closely with legal/medical/compliance teams

  • Demonstrated expertise with AI-driven content workflows (Jasper, ChatGPT, Copy.ai, or internal tools)

  • Familiarity with schema markup, structured data, and SEO fundamentals

  • Hands-on experience with automation platforms (e.g., Make.com, Zapier, n8n) or CMS integrations

  • Strong editorial judgment and ability to assess content for brand, clarity, and performance

  • [Nice to have] Familiarity with prompt design, QA automation frameworks, or content system instrumentation

Our Benefits (there are more but here are some highlights):

  • Competitive salary & equity compensation for full-time roles

  • Unlimited PTO, company holidays, and quarterly mental health days

  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental & vision, and parental leave

  • Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP)

  • 401k benefits with employer matching contribution

  • Offsite team retreats

We are committed to building a workforce that reflects diverse perspectives and prioritizes ethics, wellness, and a strong sense of belonging. If you're excited about this role, we encourage you to apply—even if you're not sure if your background or experience is a perfect match.
