About the Role:

The Quality Systems Manager will play a key role in overseeing and ensuring the efficient management of quality-related activities. You will be responsible for maintaining operational efficiencies, optimizing production yields, and managing the batch manufacturing process. The QS Manager will also track and analyze quality events, ensuring timely resolution and assisting in investigations as necessary. Additionally, this role includes KPI reporting, supplier support, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain the highest quality standards across the facility.

This position requires working onsite at our New Albany, Ohio facility.

You Will:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.

  • Manage and support audits, both internal and external, ensuring all quality documentation is accurate, current, and readily accessible.

  • Oversee the management and reporting of nonconformance, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and risk management processes, working cross-functionally to ensure timely resolution.

  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

  • Provide training and guidance to staff at all levels regarding quality system requirements, procedures, and best practices.

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality management, and implement changes as necessary.

  • Report on quality metrics to senior leadership, driving data-driven decision-making and promoting a culture of accountability and quality at all levels of the organization.

  • ​​Contribute to additional quality systems tasks and support projects or initiatives as needed, in alignment with evolving business needs in a growing organization.

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Management role

  • 2+ years in a leadership position, ideally within a regulated industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or manufacturing).

  • In-depth knowledge of quality systems, ISO standards (such as ISO 9001), FDA regulations, ICH Quality, CRFs, and other relevant quality frameworks.

  • Strong experience with risk management, audit management, and root cause analysis techniques.

  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive continuous improvement, and develop strategies that result in measurable quality enhancements.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
