Please note, this individual must live in California and will work remotely with occassional travel to our centers. Candidates located in San Francisco, CA, will be hybrid, working from our San Francisco office 3 times/week.

Role Scope:

Our People team is excited to hire a Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead our talent acquisition and attraction function. In this role, you will hire and mentor a high-performing talent acquisition team that owns recruitment for our participant in-center facing teams and non-participant facing teams. Habitat is in high-growth mode, with new PACE centers in development in California, and has goals to expand nationally. Along with leading a team, we are seeking someone comfortable being in the weeds, owning full-cycle recruitment for several roles, and can also execute on strategy.

Core Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Become intimately familiar with Habitat’s core values and cultural competencies and capabilities to ensure we are staffing our centers and non-participant-facing roles with a team that cares and creates joy for our participants.
  • Lead, hire, and develop a team of TA Specialists to ensure we meet time-to-fill goals with high-quality candidates.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with Center Leadership and non-participant-facing leaders.
  • Review and optimize our current talent acquisition processes, tools, and infrastructure to ensure we are operating as efficiently as possible.
  • Lead Habitat’s executive search efforts and provide white-glove service to hiring managers.
  • Own the end-to-end recruitment for certain roles as needed to support the team.
  • In partnership with the Sr. Director of People, develop and implement a targeted talent attraction strategy including employer branding efforts, redesigned careers page, utilization of Indeed and LinkedIn, and university recruitment.
  • Assist and participate in the planning, advertising, and execution of hiring fairs.
  • Design and own dashboards and metrics for the TA function.
  • Other responsibilities as needed.

Experience that drives success in this role:

  • 5 years in recruiting, specifically within healthcare startup environments.
  • Experience leading a team of TA Specialists and professionals in a high-growth environment.
  • Proficiency in using ATS systems (e.g., Greenhouse).
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership and Physician executives as hiring managers.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Must be located in California and have the ability to travel to centers on occasion.

Nice to have experience:

  • Experience leading Executive Search.
  • Previously worked in a value-based care environment.
  • Highly desired: experience with recruitment for PACE organizations.
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle physician recruitment and building a physician pipeline.

Compensation:

We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for medical/dental/vision insurance, paid parental leave (birthing and non-birthing parents), short and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) savings, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The expected salary range for this position is $132,000 - $157,000, and is a bonus-eligible position. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.
