The primary responsibility of the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) supporting Galleri is to engage, educate, and support Galleri ordering providers and cancer diagnostic specialists, oncologists, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and Health Care System (HCS) influencers with the most current clinical and scientific materials supporting appropriate implementation and utilization of the Galleri Multi-Cancer Early Detection (MCED) test. This will be completed through (1) Medical-Commercial partnership to identify appropriate external stakeholders, (2) providing necessary and appropriate medical education with slides, abstracts, and/or publications relevant to the Galleri product and related services, (3) responding to unsolicited questions, (4) participating in the development and creation of educational resources, and (5) training external speakers.
This position will ensure that all interactions and activities in the territories adhere to corporate and healthcare compliance guidance, including those related to clinical trials, scientific interactions with internal and external groups, and responses to unsolicited requests for medical/scientific information.
This is a remote field-based role covering the Great Lakes Region - Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Western Pennsylvania and Kentucky. Travel is estimated to be approximately 60%.
Candidates considered for the Sr. MSL position must meet the following requirements:
Current title of Sr. MSL (or equivalent) at an oncology or molecular screening/diagnostic company,
OR
At least three years of experience in an MSL role or equivalent, KOL development experience, and peer leadership experience within an MSL team, such as (1) National scientific conference lead, (2) Key contributor to an internal medical, core, or cross-functional team, (3) Significant contributor to MSL tool or resource development such as maintaining CRM, MSL Metric reporting, leading advisory boards, or other goal-driven initiatives.
Expected full time annual base pay scale for this position is $159,000 - $211,000. Actual base pay will consider skills, experience and location.
Based on the role, colleagues may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan tied to company and individual performance, or an incentive plan.
