ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Primary Care Provider established in their career with strong clinical experience in complex primary care and an interest in improving health outcomes for patients who need it the most. Unlike in traditional practices, at Galileo you’ll be given the time and tools necessary to truly solve patient issues in a proactive manner, work with an excellent team of multi-disciplinary experts, and be at the frontier of modern medicine.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Act as a key PCP on our clinical team, which provides exceptional care to cohorts of complex Medicare/Medicaid patients
  • Drive ongoing improvements for our care model, optimizing outcomes while decreasing inefficiency

ABOUT YOU

You are a Primary Care Provider with extensive clinical experience. You are comfortable with complex clinical and social needs and eager to care for patients both in a community environment as well as within the home.You are driven to create systems that enable personalized, empathetic care for individuals and families in the community and eager to find a modern practice that supports approaching patient care in ways that make meaningful and real impact to their lives.

The Primary Care Provider is an in-person role supporting Portland, Lewiston, Augusta, and Waterville.

We would love to hear from you if you have the following or equivalent experience:

  • 5+ years of clinical experience in complex care, chronic care, and primary care as an MD/DO or PA/NP
  • Active Board Certification or Board Eligible
  • Innovative and creative leadership qualities
  • Proven experience with successful behavior modification
  • Comfort with basic procedural skills
  • Ability to travel across assigned territory with reliable access to personal transportation
  • For the safety of our patients and staff, employees in this role must be fully vaccinated with all necessary vaccinations. This includes a booster for a completed COVID-19 vaccination.

COMPENSATION RANGE

PA/NP $130,000-$150,000 based upon prior experience, performance, and market dynamics

You’ll direct outreach initiatives to potential targeted executives or referrals made by the Chief Partnership Officer and other Galileo executives to pitch, evaluate opportunities and negotiate contract terms. Success in this role will be defined by identifying and driving impactful sales opportunities and closing deals. Long-term objectives include fostering and maintaining strong relationships with partners, potential partners, and key opinion leaders in the industry.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Create, develop and execute on strategic business plans for outreach and follow up campaigns to targeted health plans.
  • Develops, schedules, and delivers, high-level, and impactful presentations for sales meetings in coordination with the Chief Partnership Officer.
  • Manages the sales process, follow up meetings, and partners closely with internal stakeholders and decision makers throughout the contracting process.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, potential collaboration partners, and other high value business relationships in line with the company’s vision, strategy, and long-term plans.
  • Leverage your existing strong relationships and identify opportunities to grow your network to increase the pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Deliver upon core business development growth metrics, opportunity identification, and partnership pipeline growth.
  • Oversee the Salesforce data integrity, monitor, and report on performance metrics (tracking progress on achieving number of meetings with targeted executives and new partnerships successfully closed) in coordination with the CPO.

ABOUT YOU

  • 8+ years proven track record of successful consultative & solution oriented selling to health plan executives.(Extra credit for health system selling).
  • Deep industry knowledge and connections.
  • Well-versed and current on healthcare market trends, particularly the commercial health plan market.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and energy. Ability to quickly move from 0-1 while navigating complex regional and national health plan organizations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate and make formal presentations.

COMPENSATION RANGE:$200,000 - $250,000 + incentive and equity based upon experience and market location
