Content is one of our most important channels, and we’re looking for a part-time content marketer to help us scale our impact.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a mid-level content marketer to take the lead on our newsletter, social presence, and select SEO/AEO-driven content. You’ll manage the full lifecycle of newsletter production, drive LinkedIn engagement, and turn our longer-form research into discoverable, optimized blog posts.

This is a hands-on role: you’ll edit, write, research, and publish content, while also shaping how our editorial voice evolves. We expect all of our content processes to involve the use of AI support, but the value you bring is your editorial judgment: knowing what’s interesting, what’s important, and what drives marketing outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Newsletter production (primary responsibility):
    • Lead the end-to-end process of producing our weekly newsletter
    • Write/edit news roundups based on your own research
    • Ghost-write executive Q & A column
    • Edit additional columns provided by research team
    • Distribute drafts for feedback and make edits
    • Build and test campaigns in Mailchimp, schedule distribution

  • LinkedIn content & management:
    • Draft, optimize, and schedule posts for company channel, repurposing content from newsletters.
    • Monitor engagement and propose new formats or strategies

  • AEO/SEO blog content:
    • Conduct SEO/AEO research to identify queries and keywords worth targeting
    • Draft blog posts repurposed from our longer-form research and reports
    • Optimize for readability, search, and audience engagement

  • Editorial leadership:
    • Bring creativity and strategic thinking to content formats and campaigns
    • Use AI tools thoughtfully to streamline production while ensuring editorial quality
    • Collaborate with the broader team, reporting directly to the Director of Marketing

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, or related role; startup experience is a major plus.
  • Strong writing and editing skills; able to make complex topics clear and engaging
  • Proven experience managing newsletters and/or social channels end-to-end; comfortable using Mailchimp (or similar email platform)
  • Familiarity with SEO tools and best practices (AEO knowledge a plus)
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage projects independently while working collaboratively
  • Curious and adaptable; healthcare experience not required, but you should enjoy learning new and technical subject matter
  • Nice-to-have: basic Canva/Figma design skills for simple graphics

Contract Details

  • Hours: 10-15 per week, with possibility to expand. (It’s good to be aware that because our newsletter comes out Tuesday mornings, a bulk of these hours will need to happen on Mondays.)
  • Rate: $60/hr
  • Contract: Ongoing after a 1-month trial period
  • Location: Fully remote, with availability aligned to East Coast hours
