We are seeking a Quality Program Associate to join our team! As a pivotal part of our early Quality team you will play a key role in monitoring and supporting strategies that engage our partnered practices in executing clinical quality performance for Medicaid and Medicare patients.

What you’ll do

As a Quality Program at Diverge, you will be a key partner to our partner providers and market operators in enabling improved outcomes in the communities we serve. Reporting to the Director of Quality and Risk Adjustment you will have a front-row seat to the build and enablement of Quality and Risk Adjustment strategies that support our partner practices. You will play a key role in building and scaling the Quality and Risk Adjustment program from the ground up. Risk Adjustment experience is not required, but this is a great opportunity for anyone who knows or is interested in learning more about Risk Adjustment!

Key areas you’ll add value

  • Supports the Senior Director, Quality & Risk Adjustment with overseeing quality improvement activities/projects/programs for one or more health plans across multiple states of operation
  • Works cross-functionally to develop, implement, and maintain multiple initiatives aimed at improving performance on HEDIS/Stars measures throughout the year.
  • Participates and assists in the development of all necessary protocols, operational tools, educational materials, operational strategies and plans to develop and implement prospective quality improvement initiatives
  • Identifies barriers to project and program success and works toward resolution by informing the accountable functional area and presenting plans to resolve the issue when possible
  • Analyzes initiative results and identifies performance improvement opportunities

What you’ll bring

  • Knowledge of managed care operations, HEDIS and STARS measures and reporting, project management
  • 2-5 years of experience working in Quality
  • Analytical skills in synthesizing information from data, and communicating business requirements to IT
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel
  • Strong sense of humility
  • Desire to be a continuous learner

This is a full-time, exempt, salaried position. Commensurate on candidate experience, the expected base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000.
