Who You Are

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to drive the execution of our vision: a unified technology experience for our clinicians and patients that brings together EMR data, our care management platform, patient engagement tools, and healthcare data analytics. You’ll join a small, dynamic product and technology team, shaping and delivering against an ambitious roadmap. As a technical product manager, you’ll have the opportunity to bring together your product manager and product owner skills - partnering with clinical stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritizing the roadmap, mocking up features, writing user stories and documentation, iterating with great software engineers, collaborating with user support teams, and working with analytics - to deliver high impact features. This is not a typical project or program manager role, but a product-focused leader who translates product led growth strategy into scalable solutions and measurable impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the product roadmap for patient and provider engagement applications, for integration and analytics, and for APIs and integrations with new data systems.
  • Define requirements. Work with our solutions, clinical and other teams to understand and refine requirements.
  • Create user stories and acceptance criteria. Convert requirements into user stories (independent, negotiable, valuable, estimable, small, testable), collaborating with architects to define a logical, iterative path for each feature.
  • Iterate with development teams to turn user stories into product features - guiding and prioritizing the daily, iterative work, and validating successful completion of each step.
  • Drive knowledge transfer to our solutions team related to features you own, ensuring successful transition from development to documentation, training, adoption, and support.
  • Use and grow your technical skills. We’re a dynamic startup and a small team, so you’ll have the opportunity to take on other projects, including design, complex testing, deep root cause analysis, and the creation of BI and reporting assets for internal teams and our customers.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. or MS. Computer Science, Engineering or relevant experience
  • 5+ years’ agile and advanced product management experience
  • Practical competency with all the skills and responsibilities of a Full Stack Product Manager
  • Deep knowledge of EMR/EHR workflows, integration strategies and tools, preferably with Salesforce platform
  • Ability to function with a high level of autonomy, driving multiple projects in parallel, and to provide multiple option proposals with risk/benefit analyses
  • Ability to make trade-off decisions between possible and desirable, finding leverage opportunities, which requires a good sense of what is technically feasible
  • Demonstrated use of data and forecasting to build business cases, analyze performance and drive decision-making
  • Passion for enabling great patient care with technology and demonstrated success building enterprise healthcare solutions - navigating HIPAA, data privacy, payer and other constraints to create simple, elegant user experiences
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive, proactive mindset, combined with excellent prioritization and task management skills
  • Ability to storyboard, and create basic mockups and wireframes
  • Analytical, methodical approach to problem solving – exceptional ability to break concepts and requirements into detailed, independent, estimable and testable user stories and logical iterative steps for development
  • Ability to provide clear direction, set measurable goals, manage details, and track delivery
  • Strong competency with Azure DevOps or equivalent SDLC platform, and the application of INVEST or similar structured approaches to user story-writing

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of behavioral healthcare domain - clinical workflows, revenue cycle, etc
  • Demonstrated expertise with reporting and analytics tools (QuickSight, Tableau, complex XLS modeling)
  • Some form of highly technical experience (e.g. as a software developer, BI/data developer, etc.)
  • Experience as a Salesforce.com end user
  • Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7

What We Offer:

  • $155,000 - $175,000 base pay based on experience and geographic location
  • Monday - Friday | 40 hours per week
  • Fully remote work environment
  • A supportive and inclusive culture
  • Excellent benefits package
  • 401K, paid holidays, unlimited PTO, and sick time
  • Technology and all the tools you need to succeed
