Job Summary:

The Associate Clinical Director at Concert Health plays a critical role in leading multi-state remote clinical teams with a focus on service excellence and high-quality behavioral health services. This position requires senior leadership experience and proficiency in utilizing behavioral health tools such as Motivational Interviewing and Problem Solving Treatment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong familiarity with medical electronic health records and population health strategies.

Operationally minded and skilled at managing the day to day delivery of care while driving strategic initiatives that grow the business. Possess the ability to act on KPIs, moving data to actionable directions to enhance outcomes and team performance. Someone who excels at balancing clinical excellence with operational efficiency aligning with the process for implementation of goals.

Collaboration with clinical leadership and effective management of clinicians across various disciplines are key responsibilities. Excellent organizational, communication, and training skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt to new technologies and drive continuous improvement. Scope

The Associate Clinical Director is accountable for achieving defined objectives and delivering measurable results that align with organizational goals. The Associate Clinical Director provides direction to employees with established processes, management guidance, identifies and implements process improvements that drive performance, quality, and growth. Success is measured by the ability to meet or exceed KPIs, maintain high service standards, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Job Complexity

Work on issues where analysis of situations or data requires the review of relevant factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.

Supervision Level

Provides direct supervision to skilled employees (e.g., clinical personnel). Acts as an expert advisor to the work unit and is actively involved, as required, to meet deadlines and resolve problems. Holds accountability for performance management activities of employees within the work unit, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.

Interaction

Interacts daily with subordinates and/or functional peer groups. Sets direction and priorities and allocates resources. Determines work assignments for the work unit, needed responsibilities, and skills. Makes assignments to subordinates, distributes workload, determines work quality expectations, and sets deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively engage with external stakeholders/strategic partner groups to gather feedback, identify process improvement opportunities and effectively deliver the CoCM to all of their patients.
• Demonstrate in depth knowledge of Concert Health and all of the companies offerings to provide both accurate information and solutions functionally across internal departments and external customers.
• Provide comprehensive administrative and clinical oversight to Collaborative Care Clinicians and Clinical Excellence Managers.
• Ensure diligent supervision of Collaborative Care Clinicians and other staff members within assigned care pods.
• Deliver ongoing education to care pods, ensuring adherence to the evidence-based Collaborative Care model and its core principles.
• Articulate clearly the fundamental principles and treatment options of the Collaborative Care model. Ensure that care pods meet or surpass key performance metrics related to clinical outcomes, quality patient care, and clinical efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a national team comprising sales, implementations, product development, quality assurance, and training.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in social work, counseling, or related field.
• Independently licensed with the ability to successfully complete cross-licensing to CA and WA.
• Minimum 5+ years leadership, proven track record of meeting or exceeding clinical and operational KPISenior leadership experience with a proven track record of leading multi-state remote clinical teams. Proficiency in utilizing behavioral health tools such as PHQ9, GAD7, VARS, and related outcome measures.
• Skilled in Motivational Interviewing, Problem Solving Treatment, and Behavioral Activation. Documented proficiency with medical electronic health records like EPIC, Athena, ECW, etc. Experience in population health strategies, registry management, HEDIS measures, and value-based payment arrangements.
• Direct experience collaborating with primary care providers in primary care or related settings, with familiarity in chronic illness management and integrated care models in a leadership capacity. Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage clinicians across various disciplines. Demonstrated experience in "treat to target" models, specifically in Collaborative Care. Comfortable using computers and learning new technologies (EMRs, G-suite, care management platforms) while also adept at teaching others.

Schedule:

• 100% Remote
• Full-time 40 hours/weekly
• Monday - Friday PST
