Job Summary:
The Associate Clinical Director at Concert Health plays a critical role in leading multi-state remote clinical teams with a focus on service excellence and high-quality behavioral health services. This position requires senior leadership experience and proficiency in utilizing behavioral health tools such as Motivational Interviewing and Problem Solving Treatment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong familiarity with medical electronic health records and population health strategies.
Operationally minded and skilled at managing the day to day delivery of care while driving strategic initiatives that grow the business. Possess the ability to act on KPIs, moving data to actionable directions to enhance outcomes and team performance. Someone who excels at balancing clinical excellence with operational efficiency aligning with the process for implementation of goals.
Collaboration with clinical leadership and effective management of clinicians across various disciplines are key responsibilities. Excellent organizational, communication, and training skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt to new technologies and drive continuous improvement. The Associate Clinical Director must embody Concert Health's mission and values while driving forward the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Scope
The Associate Clinical Director is accountable for achieving defined objectives and delivering measurable results that align with organizational goals. The Associate Clinical Director provides direction to employees with established processes, management guidance, identifies and implements process improvements that drive performance, quality, and growth. Success is measured by the ability to meet or exceed KPIs, maintain high service standards, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Job Complexity
Work on issues where analysis of situations or data requires the review of relevant factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.
Supervision Level
Provides direct supervision to skilled employees (e.g., clinical personnel). Acts as an expert advisor to the work unit and is actively involved, as required, to meet deadlines and resolve problems. Holds accountability for performance management activities of employees within the work unit, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
Interaction
Interacts daily with subordinates and/or functional peer groups. Sets direction and priorities and allocates resources. Determines work assignments for the work unit, needed responsibilities, and skills. Makes assignments to subordinates, distributes workload, determines work quality expectations, and sets deadlines.
