The opportunity to scale a core function, with direct impact on the company’s vision, operations, and culture. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role is for an established leader and manager who is passionate about working at the intersection of clinical and business teams. You’ll oversee and build an operations team to serve hundreds of providers in partnership with Behavioral and Medical leadership. It will be up to you to decide what vendors, AI/tools, and resourcing you need to achieve our ambitious goals over the next few years.

Your job will be to empower our clinicians and our clinical managers to work at top of license. We believe that a strong dyad between the Clinical and Business sides of Clarity is key to achieving our long term success, to achieving rapid growth without sacrificing quality or outcomes. This role will own the relationship with our most senior Clinical leaders, including our Chief Medical Officer, Head of Behavioral Health, and Head of Medical. Your success will be measured against both business and clinical KPIs.
Oversee day to day provider operations
To start, you’ll be filling both player and coach roles, wearing a lot of hats and getting to know our business inside and out. As we grow, you’ll build your team and the required systems to handle all administrative tasks, including: provider schedules, onboarding set up, data management, bonuses/incentives, tool troubleshooting, etc. You’ll ensure smooth and efficient functioning across all departments.
Empower clinical management
You’ll own provider quality and performance metrics, including NPS, productivity/utilization, outcomes and conversion metrics. As their operational partner, you’ll ensure that our clinical managers have the data to drive desired behaviors we need from our clinicians, and partner with them on implementation/change management.
Program success and compliance
Assess performance and refine our strategy for established service lines including our behavioral health groups and medication management; drive the evolution of these services in line with updated business priorities and compliance rules. You’ll work cross-functionally to optimize our clinical processes and integrate new programs as they mature.
Supply management
Work with other operations leaders including the RCM Lead and our Director of Talent Acquisition on cross-licensing and cross-training, specific hiring directives, refining our hiring profiles, and new employment strategies. As you step into the role, you’ll work with Finance and Growth to improve our hiring forecasts and keep time to care within an acceptable range.

You’ve scaled a high-performing provider team before – you bring lessons learned, a strong POV on best practices, and you’re ready to do it again quickly!
Bachelor's degree and minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership in operations or provider management; at least 4 years in a management role overseeing teams of 10+ or multiple departments.
Demonstrated success in meeting key business metrics, managing budgets, and implementing large-scale business processes.
Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and execute long-term operational strategies that align with the company's overall business goals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. You’ve seen a variety of tools and approaches, you’re used to running experiments, and you’re excited about the possibilities of AI-powered solutions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively report to the executive team, collaborate with department heads, and manage clinical stakeholder relationships.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
Understanding of healthcare operations and provider experience best practices.

Compensation Range: $145K - $170K
