About the Role:

The Senior Director, Product Management will lead our product operations initiatives and drive strategic market expansion. This leadership role combines operational excellence with product strategy, requiring someone who can scale product processes, lead cross-functional teams, and successfully work with the implementation team to configure products to launch in new markets. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in product operations and healthcare technology strategy.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Partner with executive leadership to develop a clear product vision and strategy for the healthcare product portfolio, aligning initiatives with organizational goals, market trends, and customer needs

  • Articulate how the product strategy flows into roadmap priorities

  • Translate business objectives into actionable product initiatives and operational improvements

  • Manage complex projects that span product development, operations, and technical implementation

  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure product performance and operational efficiency

Product Operations Leadership

  • Define the vision for product operations to optimize product development processes, workflows, and team effectiveness

  • Create a framework for balancing innovation initiatives with operational maintenance requirements

  • Drive product planning, prioritization, and delivery based on key company wide metrics

  • Drive data-driven decision making across the entire product organization through implementation of robust analytics, metrics, and reporting systems

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, growth, and deployment teams to ensure seamless execution of our agenda

  • Enable the Product Operations Manager to identify, prioritize, and escalate "keep the lights on" work including technical debt, maintenance, and platform stability initiatives

Operational Excellence & Resource Management

  • Establish clear visibility mechanisms to surface operational workload to executive leadership, ensuring adequate resource allocation for foundational work

  • Work toward creating visibility into operational health metrics to proactively identify areas requiring attention

  • Partner with engineering leadership to ensure sustainable development practices and prevent operational burden from impacting product velocity

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence while providing guidance to ensure the team's success

Market Expansion & Implementation

  • Lead the strategy and execution to configure products for delivery in new markets

  • Collaborate with Deployment team on market entry plan including timelines, resource allocation, and success metrics to ensure successful delivery

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or Engineering. Master’s degree preferred

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

  • Proven track record in product management, including process optimization and team scaling specifically in the healthcare industry (healthcare IT or digital health landscape)

  • Experience in value-based care

  • Experience managing Technical Program Managers and managing vendor partnerships

  • Strong background working with engineering teams on complex technical initiatives

  • Deep understanding of product development lifecycle and agile methodologies

  • Experience with product analytics tools and data-driven decision making

  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing managers and cross-functional teams

  • Proven ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups

  • Background in technology services-oriented product management

  • Familiarity with modern product management tools and methodologies

This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company’s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location. The expected salary range for this position is:

$225,000 - $255,000 Annually
