Summary of role:

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Marketing Operations to lead and enhance our marketing infrastructure, processes, and analytics. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing HubSpot, ensuring data accuracy, optimizing lead management, and driving marketing performance through strategic planning, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in marketing operations, technology, and analytics, coupled with proven leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Serve as the primary administrator and owner of HubSpot, overseeing data, lead management, and marketing campaign attribution processes.

  • Manage lead processes, including analytics, attribution, scoring and enrichment, qualification, and dynamic routing across multiple regions, verticals, and segments.

  • Develop and implement marketing operations strategies aligned with overall marketing and business objectives.

  • Provide thought leadership in leveraging marketing automation tools and data insights to create impactful campaigns and initiatives.

  • Strategically oversee account-based marketing (ABM) strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing operations team.

  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented team environment.

Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness across marketing operations.

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for marketing processes.

  • Collaborate with Sales Operations to create end-to-end process alignment.

Data and Analytics

  • Oversee marketing analytics centered on HubSpot and Salesforce, refining reporting systems and providing actionable insights to improve marketing performance.

  • Track and report on the marketing funnel, including volume, velocity, conversion rates, and average value across key dimensions.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all marketing systems and platforms.

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate marketing efforts' effectiveness, efficiency, and attribution.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with sales, product, demand generation, field marketing, partner marketing, engineering, and business intelligence teams to align on marketing initiatives.

  • Act as a liaison between marketing and IT to manage technology needs and projects.

Compliance and Governance

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and internal controls for all marketing activities.

  • Manage data privacy and security in line with legal requirements and company policies.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Abilities

  • 5-8+ years of experience in marketing operations, including 2+ years in a leadership role managing direct reports.

  • Proficient in HubSpot administration.

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to delegate tasks effectively.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical processes across marketing, sales, finance, and learning and development teams.

  • Proven experience in launching high-visibility marketing automation and CRM projects successfully.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of detail and accuracy.

  • In-depth understanding of marketing technologies, including marketing automation, CRM, and analytics, with a track record of using these tools to deliver strong business outcomes.

  • Demonstrated experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies and the integration of ABM with marketing technology.
