We are looking for a Therapy Program Manager, reporting directly into our Clinical Leadership Team. In this role, you must be a forward-thinking license therapist who is experienced in not only providing evidence-based care to adults but also in supervising and training mental health clinicians. You will join the Therapy Program leadership team and participate in shaping evidence-based interventions on the Brightside platform; have the opportunity to participate in clinical research endeavors; manage a large panel of licensed therapists; and provide clinical training and consultation.

What you’ll be doing as a Therapy Program Manager:

  • Provide clinical consultation, management, outreach, and support to Brightside therapists; management assignment of therapists will be divided among the Therapy Program leadership team
  • Partner closely with the Talent Team to support therapy interviewing and onboarding activities
  • Drive meaningful therapy engagement initiatives, advocating and addressing the needs of our network
  • Provide oversight on clinical quality; handle individual performance and coaching conversations in partnership with Quality and People Teams
  • Perform chart reviews and handle clinical escalations from your therapy management panel
  • Participate in the Therapy Program leadership on-call and holiday rotation
  • Organize and conduct trainings and seminars related to evidence-based treatment of emotional disorders for Brightside therapists
  • Provide clinical leadership as a member of the Therapy Leadership team
  • Partner closely with Product to Therapy interests are met through product enhancements and feature development
  • Help to streamline and automate network support at scale
  • Work closely with People Teams and Clinical Operations to ensure Therapist questions are answered; help to foster self service environment by ensuring resources and tools are easy to use and access from the network
  • Participate in company wide and people management specific sessions including our Monthly Brightside U, Virtual Water-Coolers, All Team Meetings, and People Manager Circles
  • Engage in highly ethical and professional clinical practice

Requirements:

  • Licensed as a mental health therapist (i.e., LMFT, LCSW, LPC, Licensed Psychologist)
  • Expertise in providing evidence-based interventions over a telehealth platform to adults with depression, anxiety, and other emotional disorders
  • An unrestricted license in at least one state with licensure in multiple states preferred
  • Minimum 5 years post-licensure experience
  • Minimum 3 years clinical supervision experience
  • Experience with online-delivered training and education in evidence-based clinical mental health practice
  • Tech-savviness and enthusiasm for integrating digital solutions into psychotherapy
  • High degree of responsivity and willingness to collaborate with Brightside’s team of clinical and tech experts
  • Excellent written and therapeutic skills
  • Willingness to learn and implement the Unified Protocol with clients
