About Boulder

Boulder Care is an award-winning digital clinic for addiction medicine, recognized for both innovation and high quality of patient care. Founded in 2017 by CEO Stephanie Strong, our mission is to improve the lives of people with substance use disorders through compassionate, evidence-based care.

We provide Boulder patients with a fully virtual, multidisciplinary care team—including medical providers and peer recovery specialists—who deliver personalized treatment, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and ongoing support. Our approach is grounded in clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and a commitment to reducing barriers to recovery. Boulder partners with leading health plans, employers, and community organizations to ensure that our services are accessible and covered for the people who need them most.

Named by Fortune as one of the Best Workplaces in Healthcare, Boulder fosters a culture of kindness, respect, and meaningful work that delivers outstanding patient outcomes and moves the addiction medicine industry forward.

About this role

We believe addiction treatment should be accessible, compassionate, and rooted in dignity. As our Production Designer, you’ll help bring that vision to life.

Reporting to the Associate Creative Director, you’ll be a key collaborator to our Growth and Marketing teams, translating strategy into creative that performs. But more than that, you’ll help tell a new story about what addiction care can be, and why people should trust Boulder with their journey.

This is a role for a designer who knows that beautiful work is just the beginning and that the real magic happens when design drives impact.

What you'll do:

  • Design digital ads, social content, landing pages, decks, and other performance assets
  • Translate concepts into executions that are visually compelling, strategically sound, and optimized for conversion
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Growth and Marketing teams to rapidly test and refine creative based on performance and insights
  • Move quickly and confidently across multiple projects, juggling competing deadlines and knowing how to prioritize what drives the most impact
  • Ensure brand consistency while adapting designs across channels, platforms, and audiences
  • Help maintain and evolve our design systems so we can scale creative efficiently and effectively
  • Bring a sharp, empathetic eye to every project, always asking: Does this earn trust? Is this respectful? Would I want this for someone I love?

What you bring:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience designing for growth marketing, direct response, or performance campaigns
  • A portfolio that shows strong digital and technical design skills
  • Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and a working knowledge of ad platforms and best practices
  • Experience refining creative based on data and digital performance insights
  • A conversion and mission-driven mindset - someone who cares as much about helping people as hitting performance goals
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment, managing multiple priorities while maintaining quality
  • A keen attention to detail, strong collaboration skills, and a belief that inclusive, people-first design is not optional, it’s essential
