Team Overview

As the Vice President of Solution Consulting at b.well Connected Health, you will lead and strategically transform our enterprise client engagement approach, driving organizational growth and technical innovation. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy that aligns technical solutions with our company's broader business objectives, while building and mentoring a high-performance team of solution consultants. As the leader of the team, you will build and maintain key executive relationships during the sales process and throughout the life cycle of a client and help drive technical alignment, innovation, and outcomes for clients. Serving as a vital subject matter expert (SME) for b.well, you will collaborate closely with both the sales and client success teams throughout key stages of the client journey including pre-sales technical discovery, deployment, support, and expansion.

What you’ll do:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive solution engineering strategy that drives enterprise client acquisition, retention, and expansion
  • Build, lead, and develop a world-class team of solution consultants, establishing career development pathways and performance standards
  • Serve as the executive-level technical thought leader, representing b.well at industry conferences, strategic partner meetings, and key client engagements
  • Design and operationalize cross-functional processes that optimize the entire client journey from pre-sales through long-term partnership
  • Partner with prospects & clients, creating high-quality deliverables including technical diagrams, demos, and presentations, taking ownership of meeting prospect & client expectations
  • Establish a trusted advisor relationship with prospective and existing client decision makers and senior/executive stakeholders
  • Lead discovery and project scoping for our most complex projects, resulting in a clear understanding of technical requirements, solution approach, and implementation plan
  • Inform the b.well product roadmap, serving as a key voice of customer and market input
  • Lead functional and technical responses to RFPs and RFIs
  • Collaborate with the Commercial (Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships) and Client Success/Implementation teams, providing technical & strategic support to establish a mutual product fit and partnership
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure team effectiveness, client satisfaction, and technical solution impact
  • Manage multiple complex prospect & client engagements concurrently
  • Other duties as assigned

Key Accountabilities:
  • Lead enterprise-level technical discovery and solution design for complex healthcare technology implementations
  • Oversee the development of high-stakes proposals, technical responses to RFPs/RFIs, and strategic client presentations
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives at prospective and existing enterprise clients
  • Mentor solution consultants to elevate their technical expertise, industry knowledge, and consultative selling skills
  • Represent b.well's technical capabilities and vision with key industry stakeholders and potential strategic partners
Job Requirements:
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare technology, with a proven track record of leading solution engineering or technical sales teams
  • Extensive expertise in healthcare interoperability, data standards (FHIR, HL7, CCDA), and digital health ecosystems
  • Demonstrated success in enterprise client relationship management and complex solution selling
  • Strong strategic planning and team leadership capabilities
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value propositions
  • Advanced understanding of healthcare regulatory landscapes (HIPAA, HITRUST, TEFCA, value-based care)
Technical Expertise:
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare data integration, enterprise master patient index (EMPI), and modern data architecture
  • Proficiency in OAuth, SMART on FHIR, SSO technologies
  • Experience with B2B2C platform strategies
  • Understanding of web and mobile application development principles

Travel Expectations:

Approximately 30% travel for strategic client meetings, industry conferences, and team development.


The target salary range for this position is $175,000 - $220,000 and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay or title may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.

Pay Range: $175,000 - $220,000 per year
