Position: Physician
Marcos Medical Care is currently seeking a Full-time Physician to join our busy and established Primary Care clinic in the Stone Oak area of San Antonio. Marcos Medical Care is looking for the right candidate to further grow our practice. We are part of a Medicare ACO as well as several Medicare Advantage plans. Approximaely 40% of our patient population is Medicare age. While we see a few adolescents and individuals in their 20's and 30's, the majority of our commercial patients are in the 45 to 65 age range.
Essential Functions:
- Performs physical examinations and preventative health measures within prescribed guidelines
- Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations and wound care, and managing infections
- Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, provides home-going instructions, and assists in provision of continuity of care
- Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, and health maintenance
- Order, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical problems and health care needs
- Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient’s condition
- Maintains medical records
- Oversee up to 3 PA/NPs
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Licensed in the State of Texas and valid DEA license
- Bilingual preferred but not required
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience

Pay range is $250,000 to $3000,000 annually
