Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Label and address patient labs, call patients back about their lab work with physician suggestions.
  • Review medication refills per office and physician protocol.
  • Handle patient inquiries and concerns with thoroughness, professionalism and care.
  • Review Care Plan Oversights for accuracy prior to physician signature.
  • Review ER/Urgent Care visit notes to determine follow up needs.
  • Label clinical documents and update patient charts based on consult notes.
  • Assist in completing patient paperwork for Pre-op visits, FMLA, Title19s or other patient needs (ie insurance authorizations for imaging and medications).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance audits.
  • Provide direct patient care for annual wellness visits.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and ongoing care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.

Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
  • 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures and protocols.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
