Location: Michigan Wisconsin Family Practice Associates
Position: Medical Office Receptionist
We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team.
This is a permanent part-time or full-time position.
Office hours are Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
You will work at the front desk of our clinic and assist patients.
Duties:
- Greet patients and other visitors professionally and respectfully when they arrive
- Schedule patient appointments
- Answer phones and patient questions and provide assistance when necessary
- Collect copays and payments
- Scanning and faxing of documents
- Assist patients with additional testing and/or referrals to specialists
- Maintain patient and staff confidentiality at all times
- Adhere to policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Familiar with medical terminology
- Excellent organizational skills
- Electronic medical record knowledge a plus
- Ability to multitask, strong attention to detail and time management
