Position: Administrative Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to the Administrator
  • Prepares routine and adhoc reports
  • Conducts new hire orientation
  • Assists with benefits administration
  • Assists with document scanning
  • Work independently and/or within a team on special non-recurring and ongoing projects
  • Act as a project manager for special projects, at the request of the Administrator
  • Serves as the liaison between SLMC and property manager (initiates maintenance work orders)
  • Assists with other human resources related duties as assigned
  • Serves as a resource to staff and patients regarding practice protocols and procedures
  • Completes physician credentialing (i.e. hospital, nursing home, etc.)
  • Maintains and renews physician licensure
  • Maintains an active Notary Public commission
  • Daily billing team charge entry and payment posting reports
  • Receives incoming e-mails via website to
  • Performs tasks as delegated by the Administrator


  • Demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize a diverse workload
  • Excellent phone and organization skills
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multitask
  • Proven record of providing both internal and external customer service
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Be a self-starter and a problem solver
  • Experience with QuickBooks a plus
