Position: Licensed Practical Nurse
Salary: $20-22/ hour

Family owned and operated solo Internal Medicine practice since 1998. Calm, friendly family environment. We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering high quality care to assigned patients.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Familiarity with medical equipment
- Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relations skills and have a respectful, caring demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Some knowledge of computer skills for learning on the office EHR required
Responsibilities:
- Complete new patient admission by obtaining medical history, smoking history, allergies
- Take vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, BP, height and weight
- Prepare exam rooms
- Perform EKG’s as directed
- Maintain efficient patient flow
- Triage patient phone calls
- Prior authorization of medications and tests
