ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Product Designer at Ada you will work in a cross-functional delivery team (engineers, product managers and medical experts). You’ll be responsible for crafting experiences from real user insights, supporting users with their personal health data and providing them with actionable insights.

You will report directly to the VP of Product, and will be part of the Product Design Team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Own the design of the Health Profile, creating end-to-end user experiences from initial concept through to release and beyond
Work with the Health Profile team and business stakeholders to define solutions that strategically align with user needs and business goals
Represent product design in client discussions
Contribute to strategic decisions with product and design leadership to produce impactful solutions for our users
Craft flows, prototypes, and experiences that clearly solve user needs, knowing when to lean on established design practices and when to break them
Facilitate design-thinking workshops and human-centered design activities with peers, stakeholders, and partners
Partner with our UX research team to plan and conduct exploratory research and formative evaluations
Partner closely with engineers to understand technology capabilities and translate designs into released product
Give and seek feedback, regularly presenting work and evangelising good design standards within the product design team
Contribute to adopting new practices, tools, and develop the design culture at Ada
Advocate for the best possible experience for end-users, raising the standard with principles such as privacy at the heart of our decision making
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
You have at least 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer
Demonstrable professional product design experience delivering the end-to-end user experience for mobile apps and websites.
Flexibility to work in ambiguous situations, creating clarity without direction and defining software products from the ground up
An eye for detail, creative and innovative problem solving, and fluency in design systems
Ability to clearly communicate concepts and designs through sketches, wireframes, high fidelity comps, and interactive prototypes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present work to large groups and stakeholders
Enthusiasm to mentor fellow designers and to openly share knowledge
Portfolio showing high-quality, thoughtful UX and UI work
Passion for Health-tech, its challenges, and its customers
(Desirable) Experience in designing WCAG compliant, accessible interfaces
