What it is
The Licensing & Credentialing Program Manager ensures our clinicians are always ready and authorized to provide care. You’ll own the processes that keep our clinicians properly licensed, credentialed, and compliant across states, including managing collaboration practice agreements (CPAs) between physicians and advanced practice providers.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on detail, compliance, and operational efficiency, someone who understands how to navigate healthcare regulations while enabling clinicians to focus on care delivery. You’ll be a key operational link between our Clinical, Operations, Legal, and People teams. This role will report directly to VP of Operations.
What you’ll do
Licensing & Credentialing Operations

Maintain accurate tracking of all state licenses, DEA registrations, and expiration timelines.
Oversee credentialing workflows for payers, vendors, and partner platforms.
Build and maintain internal databases or dashboards to track clinician status and coverage across all states.
Maintain regulatory compliance by proactively flagging upcoming expirations and changes in state requirements and escalating to Clinical, Human Resources, and Compliance Partners.
Collaboration Practice Agreement (CPA) Management
Own all CPA documentation, execution, and renewals across state lines.
Liaise with a dedicated vendor to ensure every APP has an active collaborating physician per state-specific rules.
Partner with Clinical Leadership and Legal to maintain compliance with evolving state requirements.
Proactively identify upcoming CPA expirations and renewals to avoid disruptions.
Clinician Onboarding Management
Manage initial license and credentialing setup, where applicable
Account provisioning, tech setup, and platform orientation
Scheduling with team members for live training
Process Improvement & Systems Management
Evaluate current tools and identify automation or efficiency opportunities (e.g., licensing tracking software).
Collaborate with People Ops and Clinical to streamline onboarding workflows for new clinicians.
Partner with Compliance to prepare for audits or regulatory reviews.
Manage relationships with licensing and credentialing vendors to ensure accountability and SLA adherence.
Cross Functional Partnership
Serve as the operational point of contact for licensing and credentialing across departments and with credentialing organizations.
Provide leadership with visibility into clinician coverage, compliance status, and upcoming renewal timelines.
Collaborate closely with Clinical and Operations leaders to forecast licensing and coverage needs as we expand.
What you’ll need
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of experience managing licensing, credentialing, or compliance in a healthcare or telehealth setting.
